Last I heard, it was in testing. I do not have an ETA though.Sean Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05628006595925427776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453126.post-44642820136653327892007-01-08T08:52:00.000-08:002007-01-08T08:52:00.000-08:00My comments are based on the whitepaper that is li...My comments are based on the whitepaper that is linked in the post. From the Limitations section:

"If you moved the Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 databases from WMSDE to SQL Server 2000 or to SQL Server 2005, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Search does not function after you install Windows SharePoint Services 3.0."

This impacts everyone who has SBS Premium.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453126.post-22273055688885210642007-01-03T23:03:00.000-08:002007-01-03T23:03:00.000-08:00I believe you just have to go back into the option...I believe you just have to go back into the options and turn it on. Can you find the option? if not, I'll have to wait until my WSS PM comes back from holidays. :)Sean Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05628006595925427776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453126.post-41757996518809293442006-12-29T08:21:00.000-08:002006-12-29T08:21:00.000-08:00We would love to add the off-line folders and recy...We would love to add the off-line folders and recycle bin features, but what is the deal with the search no longer working if you are running SQL instead of MSDE? It seems crazy that one of the best features of SBS Premium would no longer function in WSS3.

Any updates on this issue?

IanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
